Suzanne's Story
With a business perspective at heart, Suzanne Mariani’s first entrepreneurial decision was to become an independent salon owner, providing the community with full-stop aesthetic services. Having undertaken many volunteer positions over the years such as corporate board positions, crisis line help representative, and community corporate fundraising [including non-profit organizations for homeless shelters and soup kitchens], Mariani received a personal letter from the City Mayor for her generous and kind contributions (2014).
Accolades
In 2018, as an acknowledgment of merit, Suzanne received an honourary degree (human letters) Doctor of Philosophy. Her book, “Breaking” – Without Darkness There Is No Light demonstrates her elevated bar of skills as a Writer and Author. In her own words [auto-biography] she recreates her own journey for her audience the experience of failures, rejection, poverty, agoraphobia, and even homelessness.

I learned to rewire my thinking in the breeding of new habits.
I wrote the book Breaking as part of my own healing process. From this, I am ultimately sharing with others how to break through despairing and desperate moments.
I learned that it is possible to overcome fear, shame, rejection, failure, hate, and substitute with a victory mindset.
I now guide others to do the same.
